Celebrating 5 Years of The Farr Institute: End of Grant Funding

Published on: 12th October 2018

The Farr Institute’s five years of funding comes to a close in October 2018 with the newly established Health Data Research UK stepping into position as the country’s national health data science institute.

Since our consortium of ten funders invested in four Centres of Excellence in 2013, The Farr Institute’s founding Centres have formed the cornerstones of a UK-wide research network, gaining recognition as a trusted and respected organisation in the UK data science community.

Up until 31 October 2018 we will be publishing a series of articles on the website to highlight the work of our researchers and support staff, celebrating just some of The Farr Institute’s achievements over the past five years.

Later in the year we will publish The Farr Institute’s 5-year report which you will be able to find here on our website.

From 31 October 2018 our website will be partially archived, with useful resources such as the 100 Ways case study series, links to our annual reports and some of our publications remaining available until April 2020. At this time our website will be fully decommissioned.

We would like to thank our International Advisory Board for supporting our strategic direction and our funders for making our research possible over the years.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and suggest you connect with the ‘friends of Farr’ below for the future:
